1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Nutrascan Ai, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your country) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or legal guardian consent to use this app.

2. Medical & Health Disclaimer

Nutrascan Ai is an educational tracking tool and NOT a medical diagnostic service.

• AI-Based Estimations: All food scanning results, ingredient breakdowns, macro calculations, and conversational responses from our AI Health Coach are estimates generated by artificial intelligence. They may contain inaccuracies and should not be treated as absolute.
• No Medical Advice: The app content, nutritional evaluations, and advice should NOT be used as medical advice or a clinical diagnosis.
• Professional Consultation: Always consult a physician, qualified nutritionist, or registered dietitian before changing your diet, starting a weight loss program, or acting on nutritional information found in this app. Do not ignore professional medical advice because of something you read inside Nutrascan Ai.

3. Services & Premium Subscriptions

We offer food image analysis, calorie logging, meal planning, and chatbot interactions.

• Premium Tier: Paid premium subscriptions unlock unlimited scanning, advanced reports, unlimited AI coaching, and an ad-free experience.
• Payment Handling: Payments are collected securely through Stripe and Apple In-App Purchases. We do not access or store your billing details. Subscription modifications, renewals, and cancellations are handled directly inside your Apple ID Account Settings or the application's subscription menu.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.

4. Coins & Virtual Utility

Non-premium users are subject to feature gating and can spend virtual Coins to generate extra scans, start coach chats, or create meal plans.

• Coins have no monetary value and cannot be refunded, sold, transferred, or exchanged for real-world currency.
• You can earn Coins by watching rewarded advertisements in the app or via welcome promo balances. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Coin utility system at any time without liability.

5. User Conduct and Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Attempt to exploit, decompile, parse, scrape, or reverse engineer any source code or assets of Nutrascan Ai.
• Upload any images containing inappropriate, illegal, or malicious payloads.
• Use the application to disrupt, abuse, or bypass standard billing, ad showing, or gating limits.
• Use the app for any unauthorized commercial purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nutrascan Ai, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the application, including errors in nutritional calculations, medical complications, or decisions made based on AI-generated suggestions. Your use of the app is at your own sole risk.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your explicit acceptance of the revised Terms.
